We believe the best form of staff development is on the job when it comes to using computer equipment.  If a user has an issue, then we would encourage them to lift the phone and ask us.  At this point we can then log on remotely to their workstation, laptop etc and show them first-hand what to do. 

 

We believe that good staff development is not just about classrooms or training groups, and we realise that a lot of people feel silly asking about something they think they should already know, so they do not report the issue or ask for help.  We want our clients to have the confidence to lift the phone or send an email to an I.T. Department they trust.  We prefer for you to look at Aqua I.T. Support as your own I.T. Department, so all your staff feel we are just a room/extension away rather than a completely different third party/sub-contractor.

 

We aim to try and make all employees feel confident so that they can call us about any IT issue that might be worrying them. This can save on catastrophes happening out of the blue.  

 

We also have a growing library of small help movie clips that we have produced so that users can look back if required.  We feel that this gives people that extra confidence to be able to look back and watch, as sometimes people can find it embarrassing to ask a question when they feel they should already know the answer.  As we support Windows and Apple, we always try to have a clip version for both Apple and Windows platforms as applications like Outlook can be completely different.  The kind of clips we have been producing are, adding your signature to outlook, how to connect to Wi-Fi, how to log in to office 365, how to save a document as a pdf, how to create a team project in Microsoft Teams etc.
